CBSE Class 9 Maths Lines parallel to the same line
|
Use the concept, that an exterior angle is the sum of opposite interior angles.
Use the angle sum property of a triangle.
Sum of interior angles on the same side of the transversal = \\(180^\\circ\\)
3 \\(\\theta \\) + 8 \\(\\theta \\) = 130 degrees+ 80 degrees
Lines parallel to the same line are parallel and so the corresponding exterior angles are also equal.
Use the angle sum property of a triangle in the triangle ABC.
AB \\(\\parallel\\) CD and PR and PQ are transversals. Also, \\(\\angle BPR + \\angle PRD\\) = 180 degrees. [Interior angles on the same side]
Draw a line joining QR and QR \\(\\parallel \\) AB. Hence, \\(\\angle PQR\\) and \\(\\angle APQ\\) are Alternate interior angles.
Sum of x and \\(105^\\circ\\) is \\(180^\\circ\\).
Lines parallel to the same lines have corresponding exterior angles equal and then look for vertically opposite angles.
