Convert into like fractions and then compare.
Change the mixed number to an improper fraction.
Simplify means divide out the common factors.
Subtract the whole and the fractions separately. Or, converte the mixed numbers into improper fractions.
Work out a common denominator.
\\(\\frac{40}{80}=\\frac{1}{2}\\) .
Same denominator
Make the denominator same for both the fraction in order to find which fraction is small.
Convert in to improper fractions.
Multiply both of the fraction by any number and try to make the denominator same.
