Convert the units
Use the area of square and find the side and use it to find the circumference of the circle.
Think about the conversion facts of length. (1km = 1000m, 1m = 100cm, 1cm = 10mm)
Subtract the smaller square from the larger one.
Subtract the width of cemented path from length & width of the park.
A square of side 100 m has an area of 1 hectare
Use the perimeter of square = 4 × side of square, to figure out the length of wire and then use perimeter to find the width of rectangle by using the perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (length + width)
Ratio of length to perimeter= 5:18
First find out the area of the cross-roads and then subtract the common square part from the rectangles.
1 square kilometer = 1000 meter
